COURSE OUTCOMES
On successful completion of the course, students will be able to
CO1 : Determine the load characteristics of DC generators, DC motors and to perform speed control operation.
CO2 : Conduct various experiments to determine the losses and efficiency of DC machines and Transformers.
CO3 : Carry out various connections of single phase and three phase transformers.

LIST OF EXPERIMENTS:
1. Load test on a DC shunt generator and DC Compound generator.
2. Load test on DC shunt, series and compound motors.
3. Speed control of DC shunt motor.
4. Swinburne's test on a DC shunt motor.
5. Hopkinton's test on a pair of DC shunt machines.
6. No load test on a DC shunt machine and separation of losses.
7. OC and SC tests on a single-phase transformer.
8. Separation of losses in a single-phase transformer.
9. Sumpner's test on single-phase transformers.
10. Scott connection of two single-phase transformers.
11. Polarity test on single phase and three phase transformer.
